A YOUNG builder sliced the backs of his legs and cracked his jaw in a horrific 30-foot fall.
The 20-year-old man slipped on the third floor of scaffolding on a construction site for a house in Hillbrow, Bromley.
Fire crews from Bromley, Downham and Lewisham stations helped the man, who fell 30 feet though a gap in scaffolding onto the first floor.
Bromley fire station chief Eamonn Meehan said: "His mates pulled him back onto the scaffolding but he couldn't move. He had pulled the skin off the backs of his legs and banged his jaw.
"We were called to get him to ground floor level and put him in a basket stretcher."
Police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the accident, which happened around 11.50am on November 1.
