PEACE campaigners gathered in Bromley to remember victims of the World Trade Center and the war against terror.
Members of Bromley and Beckenham Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) gave speeches and held anti-war placards at the war memorial, near Church Road.
They also read out poems and placed wreaths on the war memorial.
The theme of the meeting, Shoulder to Shoulder: Peace and Justice for All, was one of a number of peace ceremonies held in the country on Sunday.
CND spokesman Nigel Chamberlain said: "The aim was to reflect back on those who died in the World Trade Center bombing on September 11 and those who have died since as a result of the war against terror."
He added: "CND took a position on September 12 that we want a return to the political, diplomatic and economic coalition building undermined by the bombing campaign in Afghanistan."
