Visiting Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, a few weeks ago for treatment, I felt very sad to see all the closed wards, which made me wonder, with the shortage of hospital beds, why couldn't the wards be opened again, together with the A&E department?
This would take a great deal of pressure off Kingston Hospital.
Queen Mary's was an excellent hospital in which I was a patient quite a few times. Since then, the hospital has acquired some superb facilities and it seems such a waste as the so called new hospital' will cost millions of pounds and is still not even off the ground. I am sure I am not alone in these thoughts.
