FLOWER LOVERS came out in their droves to see fantastic array of blooms at the Wanstead and Woodford Chrysanthemum Society's 100th show.
The society, which holds two shows a year, celebrated its 50th anniversary last Saturday at Christ Church Hall in Wanstead Place.
The trophies for the best chrysanthemums were won by Norman Ede and Charlie Busby and prizes for the best floral arts arrangements was won by Mollie Edwards and Edna Crutchlow.
Society organiser Ken Edwards said: "It was the best show we've had in a long time. We had more entrants than we've had for many years."
