A GREENWICH primary school has produced its own video on bullying.
Brooklands Primary School, in Medebourne Close, made the anti-bullying video as part of its literacy syllabus.
In the short film, called Where are you going?, the children from Year Four act out the roles of a mother, father, teacher and child to tell the story of a boy, Terrance, who is the victim of bullies.
Terrance moves to a new home and a new school and becomes a victim of bullies.
The video has now been taken up by the Metropolitan Police to help its Safe Together project which targets anti-social behaviour. The project, which began in September, will be run in eight of the borough's 23 primary schools.
Inspector Larry Jones said: "The idea for the project came about through workshops focusing on bullying, racism or violence.
"I felt the project was not covering all the age groups and then a colleague mentioned the video. When she saw it, she arranged to buy four copies for our work on the Safe Together project."
Brooklands headteacher Gloria Hunt said: "I'm delighted our video is being used to stop bullying.
"We do not have a problem with it ourselves but it will be interesting to find out how the hard work of the pupils and teachers helps others."
