A TIME capsule celebrating 125 years of the Mothers' Union stopped off in Chislehurst on its journey round the UK.
Marathon runner Linda Wanniaratchy, branch leader of the Mother's Union at St Augustine's Church, in Southborough Lane, carried the capsule by road to the Annunciation Church, Red Hill.
Representatives from Mothers' Unions throughout the borough turned out to watch the capsule arrive and to hear a message from the Queen read during a blessing.
The capsule continued its journey to Tunbridge Wells, where a rollerblading vicar was expected to carry it to St Matthew's Church.
