Former Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath will turn out to support a concert in aid of St Christopher's Hospice.
The concert of popular classical music at the Fairfield Concert Hall, in Croydon, this Friday is a one-off event organised by the Rotary Club of Croydon East.
The programme will include orchestral, operatic and choral works by Dvorak, Elgar, Faure, Handel, Mozart, Puccini, Sibelius, Strauss, Sullivan, von Suppe, Tchaikovsky and Verdi.
The orchestra and soloists from the Guildhall School of Music and the East Surrey Choral Society will be conducted by Ian Kennedy.
