SPADES AT THE READY: Joe Rivett, Alex Davidson, Danny Beavan and Patrick Heath are creating a garden at an old people's home and were given certificates for their work so far. The certificates were presented by the Swanley mayor Councillor Frank Parker to the four all from Year Eight at Swanley Secondary School, St Mary's Road as part of Make A Difference Day. The children have cleared and designed a sensory herb garden and will start planting it in the spring at White Oak Court, Sycamore Drive. They will maintain their garden and the whole courtyard.
