ANTIQUES worth more than £20,000 were stolen from a house in Meopham.
Thieves forced their way into the home in Shipley Hills Road and stole two rosewood cabinets and several Chinese and Japanese teasets.
Silver ornaments and place settings were also taken.
Police believe it is likely a vehicle was used to take the valuables away and are now appealing for information from the public so the items can be recovered. Anyone who spotted anything suspicious in the area during the afternoon of October 3, should call Detective Constable Nicola Carr on 01474 565167 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
