CRAFTY thieves escaped with thousands of pounds from an Enfield bingo hall after masterminding a daring robbery.o
The two men stole the money from Gala Bingo in Great Cambridge Road after they expertly reached the safe by crawling along the rafters of the ceiling.
The thieves got in unnoticed on Thursday at 3.30pm by slipping through a fire door left open by customers.
They hid in the toilets and removed parts of the ceiling before crawling along the rafters to locate the office with the safe.
They fled in a red hatchback car, driven by a waiting driver, after they were spotted by passers-by and chased by a member of staff.
The men, aged 35 and 25, were both wearing black woolly hats and dark clothing. One was wearing fitted jeans and a black jumper.
