A TEENAGE boy was killed and two cars written off after a crash in Erith.

The 13-year-old, who has yet to be identified, was in a stolen car with two other teenage boys when the collision took place in Fraser Road, Erith, outside the Europa industrial estate.

The three youths were driving a stolen black Ford Orion at speed along Fraser Road when it collided with several other cars, one of which was a blue Toyota.

The Toyota was written off leaving the driver, who declined to be named, with no means of transporting his disabled wife to and from hospital.

The 13-year-old was taken from the scene to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.

From there, he was transferred to King's College Hospital where he died the following day.

Police have already spoken to one 15-year-old boy from Erith at his home and are currently seeking the third youth. All three of the teenagers are white.

Sergeant Alan Adams of the Metropolitan Police collision investigation unit based at Catford said: "It is a nasty incident and we want to talk to anyone who was present at the time or may have known any of the boys involved.

"If residents saw or know anything they should give us a ring."
