THE Harlow branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) is pleased to say that as a result of collections from the public it has raised over £2,000 for its welfare work.
A total of £1,394 was collected outside the Tesco store in Edinburgh Way on August 10 and 11 and £627 was collected in the town centre on September 15. The branch is very grateful to Tesco for granting us permission to collect outside its store and to Harlow Council for granting a licence to collect in the town, but most of all a very big thank you to those who gave.
