A bus driver who was threatened with a broken bottle and robbed in New Addington on Sunday morning, was so shocked he was physically sick after the attack.
The 31-year-old driver, who works for Arriva buses, was at the end of his route from Marble Arch at Homestead Way at 3.45am when the robbery occurred.
While checking the bus for passengers at the last stop, he found two men seated at the rear of the top deck. The first suspect, a white male around 20 years old, 6ft 2ins, threw a bottle at the driver.
The suspect, who was wearing a distinctive red hooded sweatshirt with GAP' on the front, then threatened to cut the driver with a broken bottle neck. The other suspect is described as a white male, 20, 5ft 11ins and wearing a blue hooded top.
The driver handed over the change from his draw and the suspects made off along Milne park East towards Arnhem Drive.
