A lone check-out girl who suffered the ordeal of a robbery at a Thornton Heath video store has quit her job, after thieves made off with cash and computer games.
The 19-year-old shop assistant from Thornton Heath, was working at Blockbuster Video on High Street, on Friday, November 9, when two men entered the shop.
The first suspect, who is described as being around 20 years old, black with light skin, 6ft tall and well built, asked to see a copy of the Exorcist. He was wearing a black cloth bomber jacket with "Atari" written on the back, and had a scar on the left side of his face.
The other suspect then went behind the counter and demanded to see the Playstation 2' games, which are housed in a secure area.
He is also aged 20, 5ft 10ins, black, and wearing dark clothing.
He grabbed about 50 of the valuable P2 games and demanded she get him a plastic bag to put them in. She was then forced to open the till and the robbers stole a quantity of cash and coins, before making their escape.
