As a young man of 34 and not much of a reader I must contact you to say that these books of Harry Coles are a joy to read .Having at least five books Policeman's Patrol, Patch, Lot, Progress and Prelude, I find the books funny yet serious and they are the only books i seem to read
Oh what it must of been like to go hopping , play on the River Thames and to have a friend like dirty knee'd Rosie .The books have brought me a great deal of fun and i shall go on reading them for many years to come
