The work carried out by Wandsworth and Merton Law Centre, in Tooting High Street, has been praised by the Attorney General Lord Goldsmith.
In a speech during the last annual meeting, Lord Goldsmith commended the centres success rates in housing, immigration, benefit appeals and employment, as well as its links with the local community.
He said: Law centres are a key element in the battle against social inclusion and the work of the centre is a clear example of this.
The centre offers free legal advice to people in Wandsworth and Merton.
