Once again predators form the majority of the reports I've had this week and, predictably, Old Bury Hill at Dorking is providing the best sport in our area.
Chertsey carpenter Colin Milner broke his personal best for zander this week with a superb 13lb 2oz specimen which fell to float fished trout, writes Ray Robson.
He backed this up with another of 9lbs 11oz and an 18lbs 6oz pike that couldn't resist a float fished roach.
Other notable catches there this week include Gary Block's 13lbs 1oz zander and a cracking 23lb 4oz pike to Fetcham TV engineer Trevor James.
On the carp front Willow Park is holding its form in fine style.
Boilies
This was shown this week when Mark Nelson fished the margins of the Bungalow bank to account for four 20s and 17 other carp. At the same venue Graham Johnson fished peg 42 and his mainline Activ-8 boilies gave him 10 carp including three 20s.
Simon Cox, 14, had never caught a chub until he visited the Thames at Richmond this week with his dad Kevin but soon put the record straight when his legered lobworm proved irresistible to a fine 3lb 6oz specimen
