A Sutton boy looks set to get an electric wheelchair if a fundraising effort goes to plan.
Robert Coombs, 14, suffers from cerebral palsy and needs to raise more than £6,000 to get a specially adapted chair.
The fundraising starts tomorrow at a race night at The Butterchurn pub in Sutton.
Then, on November 30, The Woodstock pub in North Cheam will throw its doors open for a quiz night.
But punters are in for a special surprise the prizes are tremendous.
Siemens has donated two tickets to the Chelsea versus Bolton football game on December 23, while Key Camps has donated a free holiday for six to anywhere in Europe and there are more holidays and top prizes on offer.
Robert's mother, Pauline Coombs, said: "We need to thank The Woodstock and all the other companies who have helped us for free."
