* Crystal Palace Football Club have appointed Paul Holden MBE as their new Community Affairs Director.
Fully qualified UEFA A license coach Holden, 43, has previously held FA appointments as Director of Coaching for the Kent F.A, Gibraltar F.A and the armed forces F.A. and was awarded the MBE in 1997 for services to sport.
On the non-league circuit he has managed Walton & Hersham, Bognor Regis Town and Camberley Town and will continue to coach the CPFC under-14 Academy team.
* Crystal Palace are holding another Family Day at Saturday's match against Crewe Alexandra.
As usual there will be a host of exciting giveaways and exclusive offers. For every Nescafe coffee purchased supporters will receive a free KitKat.
The Family Day, sponsored by Nestle and Nescafe, is expected to attract a crowd in excess of 20,000.
For every adult ticket purchased in advance of the match, one accompanying child under 16 will go absolutely free of charge.
There will be plenty of special entertainment on the day.
A 100 piece marching band from Ohio Northern University will perform on the pitch.
BBC Radio London will also broadcast from live from Selhurst Park between 2pm and 6pm.
* The next Fans Night will be held on Monday, November 19.
The guests for this event are Aki Riihilahti, Hayden Mullins and former Palace legend Gary O'Reilly.
* The Palace reserve team will face top Latvian side Skonto Riga in a friendly at the Beckenham Training Ground on Thursday, November 22, kicking off 1pm.
Skonto are Latvia's top side and have played regularly in Europe.
Skonto old boys Aleksandrs Kolinko and winger Andrejs Rubins are likely to play against their former team-mates.
Supporters are welcome to come to the training ground.
* The F.A Youth Cup third round tie between Crystal Palace and Wolves will be played at Selhurst Park on Wednesday, December 5, kick-off 7.00pm.
Ticket prices for this match will be adults £5, senior citizens and children £1.
* There are no more tickets left for the fixture at Gillingham Town on Wednesday, November 21 (Kick off 7.45pm).
Supporters without a ticket are advised not to make the trip.
