Economically disadvantaged borough residents could benefit from a new IT training project designed to improve their job prospects, courtesy of £311,000 worth of Government and lottery cash.
The three-year initiative will provide free training around the borough for people on benefit and subsidised IT teaching for others at a disadvantage in the labour market. It will be based at the Assembly Walk Chapel in Carshalton. Call 020 8770 6800.
