A TEENAGER has suffered serious head injuries after being coshed over the head during an altercation on Monday evening.
The 19-year-old was involved in a fracas with a man in the car park of the Woodman pub, Bourne Hill, Palmers Green, at around 6.30pm. Nearly two hours later, at 8.15pm, the attacker returned with a friend to the victim's house and apparently struck him with a wooden instrument in his front garden, also at Bourne Hill.
The victim was taken to North Middlesex Hospital but later transferred to the neurological unit of a central London hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Contact Det Sgt Ellie O'Connor at Edmonton police on 8345 4522 or out of hours on 8345 4421.
