The film of the year is now out. Elizabeth Worthy, 11, tells us why she's just wild about the movie version of Harry Potter.

I was thrilled to be one of the lucky ones at a preview of the fantastic film we have all been waiting for: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

If you are really into Harry Potter this is definitely the film for you and you won't be disappointed.

It is a truly great film. It has got to be the film of the year. Very exciting, packed with lots of surprises and good even if you have not read the book.

The character I liked best was Hermione, played by Emma Watson. She was just as I imagined and played her part brilliantly.

And I thought Ron, played by Rupert Grint, used splendid expressions on his face. His phrases, such as "wicked", were so true to life.

Harry, played by Daniel Radcliffe, was Harry and I liked Robbie Coltrane's Hagrid, who was funny with his real West Country accent.

The settings were just like in the book.

The Dursley's house was absolutely brilliant just as I had imagined.

And I really enjoyed the school, Hogwarts. It was fascinating, especially the way they got the candles to fly and plates to clear of food.

The ghosts and moving staircases were good, too, with the moving photos and pictures featured throughout the film as vivid as the descriptions in the book.

Wait till you see the dazzling Quiddich pitch. The game was intense and had me on the edge of my seat.

It was very, very exciting and amazing the way they zoomed around on their broomsticks. It was one of the best bits.

I think Fluffy, the three-headed dog, would be a bit scary for under-fives or those who can easily get scared, but older children will have no problem.

All of the audience clapped and cheered before and after the film, showing that they were in the mood to see it and enjoyed every minute.

Harry Potter was better than I had hoped and I'd give it 100 out of 100! I must see this again.
