A 19-YEAR-OLD man was sexually assaulted by another man as he walked home from Harlow town centre in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim had been out with his brother and sister-in-law when they were joined by another man.

He was white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 6ft 2ins tall with brown curtain style hair, and wearing black trousers and a purple shirt.

The group went to a pub then a club and left at about 1am.

The brother and sister-in-law got a taxi home and the other two men started to walk towards the victim's home.

When they were near Morley Grove, the older man dragged the victim to Rectory Woods where he was subjected to a serious sexual assault.

Detective Constable Mick Ruddock said: "This was a very distressing experience for a vulnerable young man who has been left in a traumatised state."

Anyone with any information should ring Harlow police on 01279 641212.
