Palace chairman Simon Jordan has told caretaker manager Steve Kember he is in no rush to find a replacement for Steve Bruce after his resignation.

Since Bruce walked out on the club Kember, along with first-team coach Terry Bullivant, have guided Palace to four points in the last two games.

Kember (below) said: "The chairman has told me he will take his time getting someone else in who compliments me and Terry.

"That might not happen until the end of the season, and I'm quite happy to carry on until then."

Meanwhile, Jordan wants to thrash out a damage limitation policy with Bruce. This is to prevent him from disclosing any details about the club or its affairs.

Jordan said: "It's a case of damage limitation we need undertakings from Steve and Birmingham that they will indemnify our football club from exposure.

"There are things going on behind the scenes which could adversely affect this football club as a result of some of Steve's actions."

Jordan is aiming to get a court injunction tomorrow (Thurday), which would mean Bruce has to serve his nine months' notice period.
