A CAR roof was cut away by firemen to rescue an eight-year-old crash victim.
A Volvo, containing a mother and her two sons, aged eight and 14, was stationary when a Ford Fiesta crashed into its rear on the junction of Bromley Hill and Glenbow Road, in Downham.
The force pushed the car into a stationary Ford Ka.
A Bromley fire station spokesman said: "We were unsure whether the child had back or neck injuries, so we had to remove the roof to help the ambulance crew get him out of the car."
The boy was taken to Bromley Hospital but he was later released. The 14-year-old boy was treated for shock.
Bromley Hill was closed for 50 minutes in both directions while emergency services cleared the accident which happened at 5.45pm on November 4.
