A BLACKHEATH man has been sentenced to 15 months for committing a "systematic housing benefit fraud"
Shola Owolabi, aged 28, of Holborne Road, Blackheath, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of obtaining more than £20,000 in housing benefit between July 1995 and October 2000.
Woolwich Crown Court Judge William Hubert Dunn said: "You have left yourself open to a long period of custody. The gravity of it went on over five years and is regarded as a serious state of affairs."
