TOY COLLECTION: Staff at Travelcare in Orpington High Street have launched a collection of gifts and toys to fill a Santa's Suitcase to donate to Hayes Children's Ward at Farnborough Hospital. Anyone wishing to donate can take gifts to the shop, preferably unwrapped, so suitability and age range can be checked.
FESTIVE BAZAAR: Parents of pupils at Alexandra Infant School, Kent House Road, Beckenham, have organised a Christmas Bazaar, with games, decoration-making and stocking fillers for all the family. Proceeds go to transforming the school's back garden.
JUBILEE FETE: A fete and carnival in West Wickham is being planned to mark the Queen's Jubilee and the Residents' Association is appealing for volunteers to help with organising the event. Please call 020 8695 5252.
LADIES' EVENING: A ladies' interest evening with beauty therapies, crafts and Christmas gifts will be held at Coopers School, Hawkwood Lane, Chislehurst, on November 29 from 7pm to 10pm. Entrance costs £2.
