NO VOICE: Charlton's fanzine Voice of The Valley published its 104th and final issue on Monday night, after nearly 14 years of existence. The Voice played a key role in the successful campaign for a return to the ground and became one of the best-known independent titles, before it was taken over by the football club in 1998. Founder and editor Rick Everitt, now the club's communications manager, said: A combination of Charlton's success in recent years and the growth of the internet had diminished the Voice's role to the point where resources were better deployed in other areas."
IT'S A KNOCKOUT: Charlton could lay claims to being champions of the world after club's fitness expert Joe Dunbar helped boxer Lennox Lewis
regain his world heavyweight title when he stopped Hasim Rahman in Las Vegas.
