HUNDREDS of people turned up to see celebrity comic and TV gameshow host Jim Davidson turn on Dartford's Christmas lights.
But the stunning display was not the only thing entertaining the crowd.
Tribute bands covering Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, SClub7 and DJ Traviss performed outside the Bull and Victoria pub.
There were also choirs performing from St Albans Road County Primary School, in Dartford, and The Gateway Primary School from Milestone Road, in Stone.
And Dartford mayor Councillor Tom Maddison surprised everyone by arriving on a vintage fire engine.
The event was sponsored by the Orchard and Priory shopping centres and other high street retailers.
Jim Davidson's Christmas production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, at the Orchard Theatre, starts on December 7.
