A MARQUEE with its own gazebo is going to be built at Acacia Hall in Dartford.
It was given the go-ahead by Dartford Council last week despite being refused planning permission earlier this year over car parking issues.
It will be able to hold up to 250 people and will be used for weddings and other types of parties, with parking provided by the sports and social club.
The development control manager for Dartford Council, responding to concerns about parking and noise, said: "The car parking surveys submitted with the planning application indicate there is more than sufficient parking available across the site as a whole.
No amplified music will be allowed after midnight on any evening, and no more than 250 guests will be allowed at any one event.
