GERMAN police used sniffer dogs to search the house where missing student nurse Louise Kerton had been staying with her fiance.
After questioning, Peter Simon allowed a search of the house in Strassfeld, the village where Miss Kerton had stayed with Mr Simon's family.
The house has now been eliminated as a possible scene of violent crime. Louise went missing on July 30 .
Current affairs programme ITV Tonight, with Trevor McDonald, recently showed a documentary about the hunt for Miss Kerton.
Her father Phil Kerton, 56, of New Ash Green said: "The TV exposure is the reason the German police made this move.
"But I hope it is sustained, as they still say it's a missing person's investigation and not a criminal matter."
