Wimbledon FC footballer Mark Williams paid a visit to the King Georges Playing Fields to present a cheque to the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust and Morden Little League.
The money presented as two cheques for £1,144 was raised by three local football managers Bob Lyons, Darran Jennison and Jim Adams who completed a sponsored cycle ride from Morden to Brighton.
The charity event followed a successful ride last year, which raised funds for eight-year-old leukaemia sufferer Bobby Dolan.
It is hoped the final total will reach £2,800.
