A MILKMAN was held up at gunpoint as he made a delivery to a nursery in the early hours of Monday morning.
The 45-year-old man was taking milk to residents in Lemna Road, Leytonstone, and had stopped outside a nursery to make a delivery.
Having left his vehicle he was approached by two men who had emerged from a VW Golf. One produced a handgun and demanded money.
When the milkman said that he didn't have any, they ran off towards the High Road. Both men were described a black, 25, 5ft 8ins tall, and were wearing woolly hats and dark clothing.
