Mill Hill 13 Uxbridge 10
Herts/Middlesex Division 1
Mill Hill, trailing 10-0 against the run of play, fought back well for a narrow win on Saturday.
Hywel Gosling narrowed the deficit with a penalty before half-time, and kicked another early in the second half to spur on the home side.
Scintillating runs by Tim Green kept Uxbridge pinned down, and a typical burst culminated in a try by Gosling, whose conversion completed the scoring.
Meanwhile, Mill Hill hope to be strengthened by the return of key players MILL HILL: Scard, Green, Cooper, Burke, Farge-Bennett, Gosling, Lee, Roze, Cracknell, Brown, Luus, French, Coltrini, Taylor, Wildman. Replacement: Mellish.
