Exit Stage Left are bringing you Tim Kelly's adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Hound of the Baskervilles on November 28,29 and 30.

Exit Stage Left fringe theatre company will be celebrating its tenth birthday by performing the Sherlock Holmes mystery Hound of The Baskervilles.

The choice may not have been a bad one since Holmes creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a Croydon resident having lived in Tennsion Road.

The Hound of the Baskervilles was published in 1901 and therefore is enjoying its hundredth birthday.

Set in windswept Dartmoor , it tells the tale of Sir Henry, who returns to his ancestral home, Baskerville Hall, only to discover he has inherited a family curse- he is marked for death at the jaws of a terrifying hound from hell.

It is up to Holmes and his faithful colleague Dr Watson to unravel the facts and save Sir Henry's life.

Along the way Holmes encounters suspicious servants, eccentric locals and mysterious beauties all harbouring their own dark secrets.

Director Andy Young said: "We're sure it will appeal not only to Sherlock Holmes fans but everyone who enjoys a thrilling mystery.

"It's a story that's enthralled generations and we're confident our version will provide audiences with a thoroughly entertaining night out."
