VOLUNTEERS at a charity shop in Sydenham are celebrating its 10th birthday today (Wednesday).
The Imperial Cancer Research Fund shop, in Sydenham Road, has been open for the past decade and a celebratory lunch for volunteers and staff will be held at the Bromley Court Hotel to mark the occasion.
Area retail manager Libby Dey said: "The shop has continued to run smoothly for so long due to people's generosity. Without those individuals who have donated either themselves or their second-hand items to our cause, we would not have raised a penny."
Anyone wishing to volunteer should either visit the shop or call 020 8659 7325.
