A DARTFORD primary school held a book celebration week to raise interest in reading and money for charity.
The highlight for Sutton-at-Hone Primary School, Church Road, was a day where pupils dressed up as their favourite book characters.
Headteacher Jeffrey Laws said: "It was a brilliant day. Everyone looked great and pupils and staff loved it."
A book fair took place after school each day raising more than £300 worth of new books for the school.
And a sponsored readathon raised more than £400 for the Roald Dahl Foundation and Sargent Cancer Care for Children.
