Pudsey Bear visited the branch of a Roehampton supermarket, while staff swapped roles to raise money for charity.
Managers at Asda, Roehampton, swapped duties with colleagues all last weekend to raise money for Children in Need.
Pudsey visited the store on Saturday, when shoppers took part in a tombola and tried to guess the weight of an enormous Pudsey Bear cake.
A spokesman said: "It was really good fun and the shop was absolutely packed."
The exact amount of cash raised is not yet known.
