I would like to thank the thieves who stole a blue Fiesta from a chained up car space in Elm Grove in the early hours of Wednesday morning, as my husband lay terminally ill in the Royal Marsden Hospital.
They crashed through the chain, breaking the padlock open, later writing off the car in Connaught Road, Carshalton.
They have taken away the one thing my husband looked forward too an occasional outing when he was well enough.
After living here for more than 20 years we have seen many changes, which we accept are necessary to the growth of Sutton, without complaint.
It is such a shame we have to rely on CCTV cameras these days. I would like to see them installed in Elm Grove.
I now look forward to finding somewhere else to live.
