MEET young Harry Wright singer, dancer and now winner of a talent contest.
Harry, seven, of Woodview Avenue, Chingford, decided to put his dance lessons to the test when he went to a holiday caravan park in Devon last summer.
Having trained at the Ridgeway School of Performing Art for a number of months, he entered the holiday talent contest along with a large number of other children.
To Harry's surprise he was expected to sing as well as dance to ensure that he would be one of five to make it to the final in October.
The judges clearly thought highly of the young Chingford lad, however, and despite his lack of singing experience he was invited back to compete for first prize.
Harry faced tough competition in the final from a young girl who performed an impressive acappella.
But his stirring rendition of a Celine Dion number and his hot S Club 7 Dance dance moves made him the winner in the judges eyes.
His mother was over the moon.
"I think I was more nervous than he was" said Jill Wright.
"When he was up on stage I couldn't believe it was him doing it.
"But Harry's always had a talent for this kind of thing. He'd like to be a pop star or an actor and on this performance I think he might just make it."
