HE'S FROM Chingford, he plays for Ridgeway Rovers and is an avid Manchester United fan sounds familiar?
Anyone who knows their England captain should know those connotations normally apply to local lad David Beckham, but these days they are being linked with 11-year-old Jack Murray.
On December 22, Jack will be taking part in the Manchester United Soccer Schools Skills Final at Old Trafford, where he will have to perform five tasks each individually named in reference to the Red Devils which use them week in week out.
Here he will have to show the judges the David Beckham lofted pass, the controlling skills of Dwight Yorke, the shooting ability of Andy Cole, the passing of Roy Keane and the dribbling technique of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Jack reached the finals after winning the heat in Southend where he was up against 160 other children between the age of 7-14.
The final in Manchester will be a stiff test for Jack as he takes on the 120 winners from around Britain, but this time the age categories will be split, giving him a good chance of being one of the four winners.
Jack also has the advantage of having been to the Manchester final before in 1999 and this time he will be treated to a full day of footballing fun along with the other skilful winners.
Jack's Mum Vanessa said: "I think he is pretty confident because he has been there before and knows what he has got to do."
