A CHRISTMAS concert in Orpington will be held in honour of the late football commentator Brian Moore.
Brian had hosted the charity celebration of carols and music at St Olave's Secondary School, Goddington Lane, since it began 25 years ago
This year, Lord Bernard Wetherell, ex-speaker of the House of Commons, will host the event, alongside other stars including Angus Scott, of ITV's Gold Rush, footballer Gavin Peacock and film star Lesley Vicarage.
Funds from the concert will go to support Thresher's day nursery, in St Mary Cray High Street.
Fundraising committee member Patrick Lepatourer said: "This event has always been much-loved by St Olave's students and their parents as well as others.
"We felt we should remember Brian at this year's concert, as he hosted it from its inception. He was the kingpin and it's a very sad loss."
