A RESIDENT at Elmstead Residential Home in Chislehurst is celebrating after reaching the ripe old age of 100.
Ivy Knott was treated to a special birthday party which included live musical entertainment to mark her achieve-ment.
She was then presented with a telegram from the Queen.
Home manager Helen Smith said: "Ivy is much loved amongst the residents and staff of the home. We are de-lighted to be able to celebrate this special achievement with her. All of the residents enjoyed the party celebrations."
