FRIENDS and supporters of Bromley Scouting marked the 25th anniversary of the group's residential building.
The Great Oaks building, on the grounds of the Wilberforce Scout Centre, in Downe Road, Keston, is in use most weekends throughout the year and provides residential accommodation for up to 24 children.
Joining the 60 friends and supporters for the celebration, Bromley deputy mayor Councillor Colin Willetts presented a plaque marking the event to Scouting District Chairman Graham Brown.
The building provides an opportunity for Cubs, Scouts, Brown-ies and Guides to develop residential and outdoor sills, such as fire lighting.
The event also marked the opening of the revamped outdoor toilet block, which was built by volunteers.
