Kiss Me, Kate beat off strong competition from My Fair Lady to be named Best Musical at this year's Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
The US production, which stars Marin Mazzie and Brent Barrett, moved from Broadway to the West End just after the September 11 attacks.
Meanwhile, Fiona Shaw was named Best Actress and Deborah Warner Best Director for the Greek tragedy Medea at the ceremony at London's Savoy Hotel.
It's the second time the pair have claimed the same two awards.
Alex Jennings was named best actor for his performances in The Winter's Tale and The Relapse.
And Robert Lepage's The Far Side Of The Moon won Best Play.

* Best Actor - Alex Jennings for The Winter's Tale and The Relapse.
* Best Actress - Fiona Shaw for Medea.
* Best Play - The Far Side of the Moon by Robert Lepage.
* Best Comedy - Feelgood by Alistair Beaton.
* The Carlton Television Best Musical - Kiss Me, Kate.
* The Sydney Edwards Award For Best Director - Deborah Warner for Medea.
* Best Stage Designer - Paul Brown for The Tempest and Platonov.
* The Charles Wintour Award For Most Promising Playwright - Roy Williams for Clubland.
* Outstanding Newcomer - Rufus Norris for Afore Night Comes.
* The Patricia Rothermere Award - Prunella Scales/Cassandre Joseph.
