BBHC mens 1st XI were hot out of the blocks when meeting local rivals Burnt Ash in the Kent/Sussex regional Hockey League. last Saturday.
BBHC, whose first-half performance blew out the flames for Burnt Ash, scored the first goal from a thundering short corner strike from Chris Allbut.
Further pressure from BBHC lead to their second first half goal, when Bimesh Sawhney capitalised on a
broken down short corner.
Burnt Ash failed to make any impression in the second half, due to the defensive supremacy by Lucas, Wheeler and Stanley.
BBHC keeper Lee Cook also maintained a professional attitude in keeping a clean sheet in the two-nil win.
