THREE members of the Beavers Swimming Club took part in the National Association of Swimming Clubs' Championships, held at Newbold Comyn Park pool, Royal Lemaington Spa.
Helen Ford from Dartford, Erith's Tina Rushbrook and David Sadler from Welling, all qualified from their heats to make their respectice finals.
But the level of competition was extremely high and they all just missed out on medals.
The Beavers Swimming Club is open at Crook Log Swimming Pool, Bexleyheath, every Friday from 6pm to 7.30pm.
It encourages people with any kind of disability to join, but they must have a carer in the pool with them at all times if they are unable to swim unaided.
If you are interested, come along and ask for the Beavers' secretary, who will be pleased to help you.
