Westcombe Park had a successful weekend with two fine away wins at Tabard in the league on Saturday and Canterbury 24 hours later in the Kent Cup.
Combe had to work hard for the win over Tabard when they were being held 18-18 at one stage, before running out 35-18 victors.
Tries were scored by Chris Hinkins, Ben Smith and Ben Thomas, which were converted by Derek Coates, who also kicked three penalties.
Against Canterbury, Combe advanced to the next round of the Kent Cup with a confident looking 39-6 success.
Tries were scored by Ben Smith (twice), David Palmer-Barnes, Nick Oldham, Qin Wiseman and Ian Lewis, while Coates booted two conversions and a penalty.
Westcombe Park travel to Old Colfieans on Saturday.
Beckenham carried on from last week's game with Sevenoaks in a tense Shepherd Neame Kent Cup match, winning 16-9.
Only a penalty by Ellsworthy in answer to two from Sevenoaks broke this error-strewn but exciting game.
Beckenham stepped up a gear in the second period and got two penalties from Ellsworthy and a try from Tex Myers.
Captain Seb Bryce said: "This wasn't the greatest spectacle, but cup games are always tight affairs.
"At least we won, which is a good habit to get into and we'll look to carry that over into next week's league match at Tunbridge Wells."
Bromley continued their unbeaten run with a 31-29 win at Ashford in the fourth round of the national Junior Knockout Cup to become the only Kent side left in the competition.
Man of the match Chad Hitchin scored a hat-trick of tries and Mark Keech got one of his own. Gary Carney booted three conversions and a penalty.
Bromley return to league action at Barnet Wood Road when they host Lordswood, kick off at 2.30pm.
