Battersea boxer Howard Eastman failed to make it a double British World title success in Las Vegas last Saturday, when he was outpointed by American William Joppy for the vacant WBA middleweight crown, writes Ziad Chaudry.

Eastman fought on the undercard of the Lewis-Rahman world heavyweight rematch undercard and floored Joppy in the final round but the verdict went to Joppy for Howard's first defeat in 33 fights.
