TWO teenagers were badly beaten when they were set on by a gang of four youths.
The two 19-year-olds, one from Welling and his friend from Essex, had been to a take-away in Welling. They were walking along Bellegrove Road and crossed towards the entrance of the public car park in Westwood Lane.
A group of four youths were standing at the entrance and launched an unprovoked attack on the teenagers.
Three attackers set on one of the teenagers who was left with a broken cheekbone and damage to the vision in his right eye.
The other youth in the gang beat up the second teenager leaving him with eye injuries and cuts to his ears made by what looked like a knife, although no weapon was found.
The youths, all white, aged about 18 and with short cropped hair, ran off up Westwood Lane leaving their victims covered in blood after the attack which took place on Friday, November 23, at about 11.30pm. Both teenagers were treated at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
